AMCG benefits from a Board of Counselors whose members it consults on a regular basis, and who assist in the identification of transaction opportunities, market and industry intelligence, selective due diligence assistance, and overall strategic advice and assistance in areas of each member's respective expertise.

Aloysius Colayco

Aloysius Colayco is Jardine Matheson Country Chairman, Philippines and concurrently Managing Director of Argosy Partners Inc, a private equity advisory firm based in the Philippines. Mr Colayco is a Director of Genesis Emerging Markets Fund (London), a Director of UIC Corporation of Singapore, as well as a Member of the Advisory Board of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. in the Philippines. He is also Chairman of Colliers Philippines and Republic Cement Corporation.

George K. Crozer

George Crozer is a partner of White & Case LLP, a major international law firm.  Based in Hong Kong, he served as a member of the Management Board of the firm and as chair of the Asia Executive Committee with overall responsibility for the firm's practice in Asia.  Mr. Crozer has over 35 years' experience in the practice of corporate and project finance law, particularly in extractive industries such as oil and gas and mining; power and telecommunications projects and related finance; mergers and acquisitions; public and private equity and debt offerings; and joint ventures.

Ambassador Victor Frank

Ambassador Frank is currently a private investor. Ambassador Frank served as the U.S. Director at the Asian Development Bank from June 1987 to March 1993 in Manila, Philippines. During his tenure, he played a leading role in the reformulation of the ADB's vision, objectives and strategies, in particular, the development of the Bank's Private Sector Group.

Thomas Haubenstricker

Thomas Haubenstricker joined New York Life in 1991 and is currently a Senior Managing Principal responsible for mezzanine and fund investing. Previously, he was Co-Head of the Private Finance Group overseeing $14 billion in assets. Since joining New York Life, Mr. Haubenstricker has assumed positions of increasing responsibility, including an overseas assignment when he established New York Life¡¯s London affiliate in 1994. Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Haubenstricker worked at Prudential Financial where he focused on leveraged financings in their Private Placement Group. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering, with honors, in 1982 from Michigan State University and an MBA in 1987 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Cordell Hull

Cordell Hull is former Chairman of Bechtel Enterprises, the Bechtel Group's global project financing, development and investment subsidiary. He is also a former Executive Vice President of the Bechtel Group, where he served in positions that included president of Bechtel Power, where he was responsible for Bechtel's global power business, as well as senior management roles in Bechtel's civil engineering business. He is a director of the Fremont Group, a Bechtel-related major investment company and previously served on the Executive Committee of Fremont. Mr. Hull also previously served as director of Darby Overseas Investments, Ltd.

Yoshiaki Ishida

Yoshiaki Ishida is Adviser of ORIX Corporation and Outside Corporate Auditor of Sojitz Corporation (formerly Nichimen Corporation). He joined ORIX (formerly Orient Leasing) in 1968 and soon pioneered the opening and management of many of ORIX¡¯s business activities including in Singapore (1971) and New York (1974). Mr. Ishida has been appointed to a number of top management positions at ORIX including President and Chief Executive of ORIX USA Corporation in 1990, Deputy President - International Headquarters of ORIX Corporation in 1997, Deputy President in 1998, and Vice-Chairman from in 2000. In 2003 he was appointed Chairman of ORIX Auto Leasing Corporation, a position he held until March 2006, when he was appointed Adviser to ORIX Corporation. He graduated from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies in 1963.

Edward Ladd

Edward Ladd is Chairman Emeritus of Standish, Ayer & Wood, a Boston-based independent investment management firm with more that US$50 billion of assets under management. Until 2004, Mr. Ladd was Chairman and Managing Director of the firm. He is a former director of Harvard Management Company, Greylock Management Corporation, and was previously a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

Ravi Parthasarathy

Ravi Parthasarathy is Chairman of Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited with responsibility for all operations of the Group, a role he has played since the commencement of IL&FS operations in 1988. IL&FS focuses on the commercialization of infrastructure projects and is currently promoting diverse projects in surface transport, power, telecommunications, water supply and area development, with an aggregate investment in excess of USD25 billion. IL&FS is the parent company of IIML, the Adviser for India to the Manager. Mr. Parthasarathy is on the boards of many organizations, including the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees.

Washington Sycip

Washington Sycip is the Founder of the SGV Group, a leading firm of auditors and management consultants, with operations throughout East Asia since 1946. He is a founder of the Asian Institute of Management and serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Harvard University Asia Center Advisory Committee and a member of the Board of Overseers of the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the American International Group, and is chairman of the Asia Pacific Advisory Committee of the New York Stock Exchange. He was on the International Advisory Board of Chase Manhattan Bank from 1984 to 2000.

Francis Tjia

Francis Tjia is co-founder and Managing Director of Income Partners Asset Management. a specialist fund manager focusing on Asian fixed income markets with US$450 million in Asian fixed income assets under management on behalf of world-wide institutional investors. Resident in Hong Kong since 1990, Francis is a Dutch citizen of Dutch and Chinese-Indonesian descent, having grown up in Indonesia and later, Canada.

Hiroaki Yano

Hiroaki Yano is currently President of Ignite Japan, the principal Japanese operating subsidiary of the Ignite Group, a venture capital fund management firm headquartered in Redwood City, California. Mr. Yano previously worked for more than 35 years at Mitsubishi Corporation, in a variety of roles that most recently included Managing Director of Mitsubishi Corporation, and President of Mitsubishi International Corporation, the group's principal US operating subsidiary.
